Lightleaks

Short days, long nights, winter, contact and curfews were the circumstances that led me to this work in the winter of 2020/21. Since then, I have preferred to look for light sources that illuminate their surroundings during the dark season, when life retreats indoors and it becomes quiet and cold outside.
Long exposure times are used to erase details close to the light sources and intensify weak lights in the surroundings. The result is subject to a certain coincidence, information disappears in the darkness, other, otherwise invisible structures or details become perceptible and show up in the picture.
